Infinix Hot 60i 5G Launches With Bigger 6000mAh Battery Under $110
Infinix has officially introduced the 5G variant of its Hot 60i smartphone, expanding on the 4G model that was released in July. The upgraded version brings faster 5G connectivity, a stronger battery, and a few design and camera adjustments — all while keeping the price affordable at just $105.
Design and Display
The Infinix Hot 60i 5G comes with a 6.75-inch HD+ LCD panel supporting a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 670 nits. Unlike the 4G edition that had a modern punch-hole cutout, this version uses a waterdrop notch to house its selfie camera.
Despite retaining the same screen size, the change in design slightly impacts the overall viewing experience. Buyers can pick from four stylish colors: Shadow Blue, Sleek Black, Monsoon Green, and Plum Red.
Performance and Software
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6400 SoC, the device offers 4GB RAM paired with 128GB internal storage, expandable up to 2TB via microSD card. Running on Android 15 with Infinix XOS 15.1 UI, the phone also includes Infinix AI features and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner for added security.
Camera Setup
On the back, the smartphone carries a 50MP primary lens alongside an unspecified secondary sensor, likely serving as a depth or AI-assisted camera. For selfies, however, the resolution has been reduced from 8MP on the 4G version to 5MP on the 5G model.
Battery and Price
A major highlight of the Infinix Hot 60i 5G is its 6,000 mAh battery, a noticeable upgrade from the 5,160 mAh cell in the previous model. Charging speeds, however, have dropped from 45W to 18W, but the phone does support 10W reverse wired charging for powering other devices.
With all these upgrades, the Infinix Hot 60i 5G is priced at around $105, making it one of the most affordable 5G smartphones in the budget segment.
